Nice blog! I found you from your post over at Eli's "Deep Thought" blog.

I'm just "down the road" from you in Athens. There are quite a few Ohioans that hang at the DNC KA site and have blogs of their own that I've come to know over the last couple of years.

Anyway, nice to meet you. I'll hyperlink you from my place.

Chuck - how very nice - nice to meet you too. I couldn't figure out from your blogs how to message you so hope you come back - I'd like to hyperlink to your site as well. Please email me from my profile and let me know which blog to link from! Thanks so much.

Chuck's site is http://bushmerika.blogspot.com/

Anyway, I liked your post. It's too bad that people in 49 states passed up one of the most personally honest and trustworthy men ever to run for the office of President of the United States with, well, the direct opposite.

True, Nixon does deserve credit for eventually getting us out of Vietnam, but largely because he could see that he had no other choice. McGovern would have been a better person to see to it that we began developing a more coherent foreign policy AFTER Vietnam.

Like what you're doing with your site. Looks great! Sounds great! Keep up the good work...The first time I ever voted, I voted for McGovern. I think this would would have been a much different world had he won the presidency...later :)
