Happy 2007

My wish list for 2007 -

-That the lunacy that is Iraq comes to an end.

-That the Iraqi's find a way to move forward independently.

-That our elected representatives work to secure democracy in our own country by way of fair elections.

-That the truth about how we got into Iraq is investigated and disclosed so that it never happens again.

-That we have a full and complete investigation of 9/11.

-That our government and its citizens take seriously the threat of global warming.

-That our government be no longer controlled by the interests of its corporations but by the interests of its citizens.

-That fairness and accuracy in media is returned so that the citizens can make informed decisions rather than partisian driven ones.

-That the nightmare that is Darfur becomes too much for the world to bear and is stopped.

-That the citizens of this planet decide racisim and poverty are unacceptable and move to stamp both out of existence.

-That we make torture or the sanctioning of torture a criminal offense.

-That our government stops listening to the conversations of ordinary Americans.
