Republicans said they had the moral high ground. Abu Gharib? Haditha? Threatening Nuclear War? Do you think Iraqis care who kills them? Is there a difference between Saddam Hussein and George Bush when it comes to killing civilians by knocking down their doors and gunning down their babies? Is there a difference between Abu Gharib's torture chambers under the Bush Administration and Abu Gharib under Baathists?
Hypocrisy just means you scold others for something you do. Lying means you cover up your hypocrisy.

The difference is that George really truly knows that God is on his side. It's one thing when you kill, maim, and torture innocent civilians and you're an evildoer. It's totally different when you're a good man just doin' his job, workin' hard for the Lord.
I hope you're getting this.
