My Dad

Here are some photo's of my father, who died at the way too early age of 38. I was only 15. I am always deeply moved when I observe fathers interacting with their children because I have really missed not having him in my life and in my children's lives.

What a handsome guy! Bless your heart. Father's Day and Mother's Day are difficult for those whose parents have passed on. Mine are both still with me, but I know their days are numbered. Just cherish the time we have with them, that's all we can do. And then cherish the memories.

Honor to your dad and to you each time you realize your loss so early.

I lost my dad in '96. He was 61.

All four of my boys were with me & Karen on Father's Day. We went out of town for the weekend to a Reds game & and King's Island. We all just had a great time together. That's worth a lot more than it cost!

Thanks for the kind words - both of you. How blessed you are Marty to have yours. I never had much of a mother either - there will always be a void.

Glad you had such a wonderful day with your family Chuck. That's what its all about - spending time together and making memories.
