The Biggest Problem in America....

...is that my big screen tv has died. I will not be getting it repaired. A projection TV, it's outlived its estimated life span by a couple of years. Last time the picture went out it cost me nearly $500 to repair it. So, its time to shop for a new television. Problem is in the 10 years since I've bought a TV - they've changed so much I didn't even understand the language in the ads. Oh...and the prices!!!!! Since when did a television become such a major investment? Good God - they cost as much as a used car...and more than my grandparents first house! Sooooo....if someone could please point me to a good "Televisions for Dummies" website I would appreciate it.

So sorry to hear about your TV!

At least it went out AFTER "March Madness" was finished. (I know you are a HUGE fan.)
