I posted this on Night Bird's fountain, but here are a few of the on-air things that Rush said about the subject in the years prior to his arrest:
He's just another dead drug addict (speaking about Jerry Garcia).
if people are violating the law by doing drugs, they ought to be accused and they ought to be convicted and they ought to be sent up.
He said he does not consider drug addiction to be a disease, and people who use drugs are making a clear personal choice, and they should be held accountable for it.
