Excellent post, however as I remember, the President did have the authority of the people in April 03. Do you remember how former Secretary of State Powel addressed the U.N. Security Council about Iraqi ties to Al Qeada and WMD's?
I sure do, and I remember thinking, let's get those bastards! At least until I came to my senses.
Interesting. I was not at all impressed by Powel's address - based on the other available information I thought he was lying.
